Open Linking plug-in (PDF) from Calyx RIM

To open Linking plug-in (PDF) when using Calyx RIM, Linking plug-in (PDF) must be installed on your desktop/client machine. A successful installation creates new toolbar icons on the Acrobat menu bar.

When you edit an assembly, you can add or modify links in Acrobat using Linking plug-in (PDF).
  1. In your Calyx RIM assembly, right-click on a folder or document and choose Prepare Documents for Linking.
    The documents are prepared for links. This runs as a job request.
  2. When the job request is completed, select the Edit Links action bar button on the document.
    The rendition opens in Acrobat and Linking plug-in (PDF) is automatically enabled.
