Use the
Show PDF Bookmarks option to locate bookmarks in rendered PDF documents that you can create links to in the current Word document with SmartLink.

In a Word document, highlight the text where you will create a link.

In the LIQUENT SmartLink window, click
Options and select
Show PDF Bookmarks.
The additional options appear at the bottom of the SmartLink window.

In the
Select document to link to field, select
External and browse to a rendered PDF document that includes bookmarks.
The bookmarks in the selected PDF rendition are listed at the bottom of the SmartLink window.

In the
Specify Page or bookmark from PDF rendition fields, do one of the following:
- Specify Page - Set the page number to link to in the selected PDF document.
Page 1 is the default when a document is selected.
- Bookmark from PDF rendition - In the bookmark menu that appears in the box below the page/rendition fields, double-click on a node to set the link to that document. The title of the selected document appears in the
bookmark from PDF rendition field.

To assign the PDF rendition bookmark to the selected text in your Word document, click
Link.
