Icons and Toolbars

The  Authoring and QC plug-in (PDF) toolbar icons and other buttons provide quick access to commonly used features. The following tables describe the icons and their functions.

Icon	Name	Description
	Add Current File	Adds the active document.
	Add File(s)	Select and add multiple PDF files from a single folder. Files from a different folder can be added by repeating this action.
	Add Folder	Adds all PDF files from a selected folder at once.
	Remove File(s)	Removes a file(s) from the display: select the row(s) in which the file(s) is displayed and click Remove File(s).
	Remove Folder	Removes all files in a folder: select the row in which the file is displayed and click Remove Folder.
	Remove All Files	Clears the tabular display completely and remove all files.
	View Document	View a selected document in Acrobat.
	Rescan	Rescans a file or a set of files that have been modified so that the updated information will be displayed in the window, enabling a quick review of recent changes.
	Export	The results are exported to a comma delimited (CSV) file.
	Select PDF Version	Provides the ability to select the PDF version to optimize.
	Close or Exit	Quits the plug-in window.
	Optimizer	Optimizes files to access and/or modify document view properties.
	Apply	Applies any changes made to the documents.
	Delete Navigation Items	Marks the navigation items for deletion.
	Filter	Filters the documents based on documents' status, navigation items, magnification, action, link rectangle type and smart check results.
	Find and Replace	Used to find and replace bookmark title and destination.
	Go to Destination	Navigates to the destination page corresponding to a row in the table.
	Go to Source	Navigates to the source page.
	Import	Imports CSV file contents.
	Modify	Used to modify the attributes.
	Print	Used to print summary information about the documents loaded in each module.
	Process	Processes the bookmarks based on the selected settings and options.
	Remove Link Reference	Removes the link reference stamping for the selected files/folder.
	Settings	Used to view and modify settings used for processing the bookmarks.
	SmartCheck	Used to verify whether a link or bookmark points to the destination.
	Stamp	Used to extract the destination information of a specific link and display it.
	ViewMode - Tree view	Used to display the contents of IntelliQC in tree view.
	ViewMode - Tabular view	Used to view the contents of IntelliQC in tabular view.
	ScalePDF	Used to scale or move the content of the documents and also change its page size.
	Split	Used to split the documents.
	Merge	Used to merge the documents.
	Link Reference Stamper	Used to extract the destination information of a specific link and display it.
	Redaction	Used to automate the process of removing unwanted text/images from a document.
	Page Stamper	Used to automate the process of adding headers and footers to the documents.
	Bookmark Wizard	Used to automate the creation of bookmarks for one or more PDF files.
	Clone Bookmarks	Used to clone and unclone bookmarks from a currently active PDF document (source) to single/multiple PDF documents (target).
	Delete Bookmarks	Used to delete bookmarks.
	OCR Bookmarker	OCR (Optical Character Reader) is used to create bookmarks by selecting text in a document.
	PDF Security	Used to view the security status of one or more PDF files.
	PDF Page Verifier	Used to verify the page attributes of files such as page size, page orientation, contents and page margins.
	CrossLinker	Used to automate the internal and external linking process using the keywords you define.
	LinkInfo	Used to display the link destination information such as link action, magnification, linked page and destination file/URL information.
	Delete Links	Deletes the links in a document.
	Link TouchUp	Used to modify link attributes over a range of pages in a document.
	UnLinked Text	Identifies the text which is not linked.
	QuickLinker	Creates links using the default or FDA/ ICH guidelines or Custom settings.
	IntelliQC	Used to perform various functions as discussed in IntelliQC and also to display the details of a documents' bookmarks and links.
	DocInfo	Used to add, verify or modify PDF Document Information Fields.
	FontInfo	Used to verify the font information of PDF files and filter the tabular display based on font size or number of characters.
	TOCLinker	Used to create links and bookmarks to the TOC pages in a document.
	Import Bookmarks/Links	Used to import bookmarks and links.
	Export Bookmarks/Links	Used to export bookmarks and links to a .CSV file.
	Document Linker	Used to create hypertext links and bookmarks that point to an external file.
	Change Magnification	Used to change the magnification of bookmarks and/or hypertext links in a document.
	Review	Used to review actions based on the document mode attributes over a range of pages.
	Pass	This status indicates that the file meets the criteria of the plug-in functions.
	Fail	This status indicates that the file does not meet the criteria of the plug-in functions.
