Superseded Detail

When a shelf life detail is approved and the PDS contains a previously approved shelf life detail in the same grouping and category, the status of the previously approved shelf life detail is automatically updated to Superseded.

A superseded shelf life detail is not shown in the PDS, when viewing the PDS for subsequent events. The detail is shown in the PDS as:

• Superseded, when viewing the PDS from the event for which the approved detail was superseded.
• Approved, when viewing the PDS from the event for which the pending detail was approved.
