Withdraw a Product Package Set Registration Project

Global Project Planning (GPP) enables you to withdraw a product package set registration from selected countries, without withdrawing the PDS details.

With the wizard, you have the option to apply a timeline/event plan to the events that you create. You can select a timeline/event plan type for the timeline/event plan:

  • If you select an event type timeline/event plan, the GPP wizard creates an event that will have a sequence of statuses relevant to the event type that you select.
  • If you select a procedure type timeline/event plan, the GPP wizard creates an event that will have a sequence of statuses relevant to the procedure type that you select.
  • If you do not use a timeline/event plan, the GPP wizard creates an event that can have any sequence of active statuses.

To withdraw a product package set registration:

  1. Click Wizards > Global Project Plan.The GPP wizard opens to the Project Details page.
  2. For the Project Type attribute, select Withdraw Product Package Set Registration or a type that maps to the internal project type of Withdraw Product Package Set Registration as defined in Data Administration.
  3. Enter values for the project attributes. The wizard requires entries for the Project Type, Project Name, Project Status, and Project Status Date.
  4. Click Next.The Search by Product, Country, and Application, and PDS Statuses page appears.
  5. Define search criteria for locating the applications for which you want to include events in the GPP project:
    Action
    Select the Family Type and Family Name.
    Optionally, select one or more products to include in the search.
    Select one or more application statuses to include in the search.
    Enter the Product Detail Set Code, the Product Detail Set Name, or both.
    Select one or more PDS statuses to include in the search.
    Optionally, select one or more countries to include in the search.
    Optionally, select one or more application types to include in the search.
    Change the columns included in the displayed results, or change their order of appearance.
    Change the order in which the results will be presented.
  6. Click Next.The Select Applications page appears. Only package set registration applications within the search parameters are listed.
  7. Select one or more applications.The Enter Event Details page appears.
  8. Enter values for the event attribute options.An event will be created for each application created by the wizard and the following will occur:
    Application Type Description
    For CP applications: The wizard automatically assigns the European Union to the created event.
    For National applications: The wizard automatically assigns the reviewing country for the event.
    For MRP applications: The selected countries will be assigned to the created event.
    For all application types: The event-country status is assigned to each country when the event is created.
  9. Click Next.The Select Timeline/Event Plan page appears.

    ◦ The Timeline/Event Plan page appears for each procedure type associated with the applications that you selected.

    ◦ A timeline/event plan must exist in the system for you to select a timeline/event plan.

  10. On the Timeline/Event Plan page, do one of the following:
    Option Action
    To associate a timeline/event plan with the events created by the wizard. If a timeline/event plan chosen in the project does not have a country lead time for the reviewing country on the selected application, the lead times in the status schedule table are assumed to be zero: Select a timeline/event plan from the Timeline/Event Plan drop-down list.
    Projected dates are calculated using zero lead times and the pivot status and status date of the project: Click Next, and continue at step 11.
    Do not select a timeline/event plan. A timeline/event plan will not be associated if you do not make a selection: Click Next as many times as is necessary to open the Confirmation page, indicating that the wizard will perform the selected actions. Continue at step 12.
  11. Select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
  12. Click Next
  13. Choose the applicable procedure in the table below to enter an electronic signature in wizards:
    Scenario Steps
    When electronic signature is enabled
    1. In the confirmation page, select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
    2. Click Next.
    3. Validate your identity by entering your user credentials in the dialog box.
  1. Click Next after completing each timeline/event plan page presented.When all the timeline/event plan pages are completed, the Confirmation page project, indicating that the wizard will perform the selected actions.
  2. Click Next.The Create Sequence(s) page project.
  3. Do one of the following:
    Option Action
    To create a sequence: Select Yes and click Next. The Sequence Attributes page project. Go to step 14.
    To proceed without creating a sequence: Select No. If you select No, the a message shows that you do not need to enter sequence details. Go to step 15.
  4. On the Sequence Attributes page, select or enter values for the sequence attribute fields presented.
  5. Click Next.One of the following will occur:

    ◦ If you created one or more sequences, a message shows that sequences will be associated with the events. Click Next.

    ◦ If you did not choose to create a sequence, the Summary page shows.

    The Summary page confirms that the GPP wizard performed the selected actions.

  6. Select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
  7. Click Next
  8. If eSignature is enabled, validate your identify by entering your user credentials and click Sign in.
  9. Do one of the following:
    Option Action
    To review the new project you created: Select the project link on the Summary page.
    To return to the view from which you invoked the GPP wizard: Click Finish.
  10. To view the project after closing the GPP wizard, click Home > Projects tab. Click the link for the project you created to open the Project Attributes page for that project.
