Add a Manufacturer PDS Project

Using the Global Project Planning (GPP) wizard, you can add manufacturers to approved PDS details for active ingredients, substances, component functions, PDS functions, package set functions, package set packaging, and component packaging.

Note: The procedure below is a continuation of the Update Product Detail Sets project in the GPP wizard. The procedure presented in Creating an Update Product Detail Set Project must be initiated first.To add a manufacturer from the Select Action page of the GPP wizard:

  1. Select Add Manufacturer on the Select Action page.
  2. Click Next.The Select Flow page opens.
  3. Select the action you want to perform from the list presented. You can only choose one.
  4. Click Next.The page for specifying the PDS details you want to update opens.
  5. Specify the PDS details you want to update.After specifying the PDS details you want to update, the Perform Another PDS Action page appears.
  6. On the Perform Another PDS Action page, do one of the following:

    ◦ Click Yes to return to the Select Action page and perform another update PDS action.

    ◦ Click No to proceed to the Summary page of the GPP wizard.

  7. Click Next.One of the following occurs:

    ◦ If you selected Yes in step 6, you return to the Select Action page of the GPP wizard.

    ◦ If you selected No in step 6, the Summary page opens. Go to step 8.

  8. On the Summary page, do one of the following:

    ◦ Select the project link on the Summary page to review the new project you created.

    ◦ Click Finish to return to the view from which you invoked the GPP wizard.

    Upon completion, the manufacturer you chose to add is assigned a Pending Add status in the PDS.

  9. To view the project after closing the GPP wizard, click Home > Projects.
  10. Click the link for the project you just created to open the Project Attributes page.
  11. Navigate to the PDS to view the modified details.
