Data Administration
As a data administrator, you are responsible for setting up and maintaining the data available in selection lists in Ennov InSight .
To perform data administration maintenance, your security privileges for Data Administration must be set to Yes under Home Page Access on the Privilege Detail for user page (Go To > Data Administration).
The administrative functions enable you to create and maintain entity-specific data that appears in drop-down lists throughout Ennov InSight . Many of the values you set up are either active or inactive. An active value is available to choose from a drop-down list, and an inactive value is hidden from a drop-down list. One exception regarding the appearance of inactive values in drop-down lists is when inactive values are still available in the querying lists.
In addition, some values you create are considered default values. If you do not explicitly choose a value from a dropdown list, the default value is set for the attribute automatically.
Note: Default values must be active.
