Notifications Maintenance

Notifications trigger e-mails or alerts in the Alert center, based on changes that occur in Ennov InSight entities. You can create global notifications for all instances of the entity matching the criteria, or notifications for specific instances of entities, or you can create Notification Specifications that trigger automatically for all entities when the criteria in the specification are met.

Notifications can be associated with the following entities:

— Product Family

— Product

— Product Component

— Pharmaceutical Product

— Application

— Event

— Event-Country

— Sequence

— Registration

— Full Product Presentation

— Registration FPP Attachment

— Reference

— Task

— Project

Note: When creating a notification for an event country, you can create notifications for the event country or the eventcountry status schedule.

When you select a value under Notifications in Data Administration, a page opens with a table of all values that have been defined. You can sort these values by column. The default view is sorted in ascending, alphanumeric order.

You can also create a notification for the XEVMPD Acknowledgement Import. This notification can be created using Home Page > Wizards > Create Notificationfunctionality only. See Creating a Notification.

The proper Data Administration access privileges are required to view and modify Notifications and Notification Specifications.

Notifications:

— Activate, deactivate, modify, or delete existing notifications.

— All notifications created for a specific instance of an entity (whether created using the wizard or created automatically based on a specification) appear on the Notifications tab for the particular entity and on the Notifications tab in Data Administration.

Notification Specifications:

— Send all date-based notifications; activate, deactivate, modify, or delete existing notification specifications.

— All Global specifications created using the Notifications wizard appear on the Notifications Specifications tab in Data Administration.

— New Record notifications are displayed on the Notification Specifications Data Administration tab.

For information about creating notifications, see Creating a Notification.

Warning: The notification framework leverages SMTP. To ensure notifications can be sent, customers must provide all the domains to be whitelisted by security policy. Please, be sure to discuss it with your Project manager prior to setup to ensure the appropriate domains are added. In the event of an acquisition, merger, separation or other activities resulting in domain changes you will need to raise a ServiceNow ticket using the following link: https:// calyx.service-now.com/csm?id=calyx_login detailing the domains for inclusion or removal.

Create a Notification

You can create notifications using either the Create Notification wizard or the Notification option in the I Am Looking To > Create A New section on the home page.

You must have the appropriate security privileges to create, modify, and view notifications. Only users with administrator privileges for notifications can create a global notification.

— If you launch the Create Notification wizard from the home page, you can select a Ennov InSight entity and create a notification. See Use the Create Notification Wizard in the Getting Started online help.

— If you launch the wizard while viewing an entity, you can create an instance notification or a global notification for the entity you are viewing.
