OMS Terms

Use Organization Management Services (OMS) terms to include organization management data for attributes of manufacturer values and country values such as health authority.

OMS allows you to map a SPOR Term with the Data Administration values. The following table shows the Data Administration value and the SPOR value it is linked to.

Associate OMS Terms with Data Administration Entities

Associate an entity to an organization using OMS (Organization Management Service) values to include a single source of validated organizational data.

To associate OMS with an entity:

  1. Select Go To > Data Administration.
  2. Navigate to the Data Administration entities and click the link for the Data Administration value. For Example: Product Detail Set Maintenance, click Manufacturer Values.
  3. Click the manufacturer to which you want to associate an organization.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the OMS tab.
  5. Click Associate Term.
  6. Select the organization to associate with the manufacturer. You can select only one organization.
  7. Click Associate Term.

Disassociate OMS Terms with Data Administration Entities

Disassociate the term from an organization using OMS (Organization Management Service) values.

To disassociate an OMS term from an entity:

  1. Navigate to the Data Administration entities and click the link for the Data Administration value.

  2. Click the manufacturer from which you want to disassociate an organization.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the OMS tab.
  4. Select the Term, and click Disassociate Term .

OMS Terms Attributes

The following are the OMS Terms attributes and their description:

Attribute Description
Organization ID OMS Organization Identifier.
Organization Name The name of the OMS organization.
Address OMS Address Line 1 + OMS Address Line 2 (if exists) + OMS Address Line 3 (if exists) + OMS Address Line 4 (if exists).
City OMS city.
Post Code OMS Post code of the city.
Country The OMS county for the location.
Location ID The OMS location identifier.
XEVMPD The OMS XEVMPD code for the location.
Organization Category Type Type of organization category.
Last User Updated Indicates by whom the Data Administration value was created/updated. By default, this option is read-only. It is populated automatically when updates were made to the table.
Last Changed Date Indicates when the Data Administration value was created/updated. By default, this option is read-only. It is populated automatically when updates were made to the table.
Active Indicates if the entity is active or inactive.
